Cleaning experts

i have a black laquer piece of furniture.

I’ve avoided cleaning it thoroughly for years. I just dust it with a plain cloth.

I recall being told eons ago to buy this white furniture polish, which I did for a short time. I did this monthly.

Anyway, now it has smudges that won’t come out.

What cleaning product might I use? My gut tells me Pledge is wrong.

I ended up doing that.
I had looked just a few years ago and didn’t find anything.
While I didn’t find the very specific white cleaner recommended to me long ago, I found another one that seems like it might work.

All I can say is I HATE dusting with a passion. It makes me sneeze and it's dusty again the next day!!

Im a sheep too but for a reason. I figure that number of stars/consumer ratings are about as accurate as you get. I go with popular opinion.
