The ACLU has been trying to persuade companies to give non-violent felons or those with non-violent criminal records a chance at being gainfully employed. You may want to recommend to adult children who have a record. I was very surprised at what I found. I think it’s time companies start doing this. If anyone has a company to add, go ahead and put it in the list.

I don’t see Walmart on the list and it is my understanding that they will hire a felon, though they handle each case individually after speaking with the applicant to see how much they’ve changed, how long since conviction etc. and won’t hire violent offenders.
