Locked knee

Last night, somehow, during my sleep, I injured my knee. I woke up in intense pain. I can't bend it past 40 degrees without experiencing horrible pain. I'm supposed to get JJ today for a week. I really don't have time for stupid knee issues.

Keep it up and iced. Call an orthopedist on Monday. You may have twisted in in your sleep and not realized it.

Ouch!! I have also woken up in the past with severe pains in my knees. I've always been lucky in that the pain lessened as the day went on. I like Loth's idea of icing it. I hope it is nothing serious. I know you were really looking forward to your plans for today. Hugs.

Oh I just hate that!

I just saw a commercial for Synvisic One that is a one time shot that is supposed to last up to 6 months per shot. I am thinking of going and getting them. I did the 5 shot series twice before and it kinda worked for a while.

An ace bandage may help. Same for aleve or motrin. If you use aleve, take two the first dose (the bottle says you can) and it will help keep any swelling down.
