No vaccines, no treatment

After an announcement that some teens receiving the meningitis vaccine have developed Guillain- Barre Syndrome, pediatricians have gone on the offensive. Many said that they will refuse to treat patients who are not vaccinated. They do not believe that people have the right to decide whether or not to vaccinate or which vaccinations are needed for their particular child.

Thanks for posting this, typical teen. I didn't even know that this vaccine was being encouraged in the general population of teens until my son's well check up in early Sept. My pediatrician is good about respecting parent's choices about optional vaccinations.

Can I ask where you are finding reports that "many" are refusing to treat? I would guess there will always be a certain percentage of the medical profession which can never be wrong but that makes it sound like it's a little beyond that.
