Gunne Sax dresses - (the really crinkly cotton and lace fancy dresses) and prairie skirts with peasant tops.

Oh how I loved my Gunne Sax dresses!!
I also had several wrap around skirts.

I LOVED Gunne Sax! Had several of them...in fact, my wedding dress (to Husband 1.0) was a Gunne Sax dress.

I wear joggers at home but no elastic waist out and about ever. Anybody remember hot pants and onesies for adults with the snaps in the crotch? My school did not have a smoking room that I knew of but I never smoked. Also mini skirts but we weren't allowed to wear them in school so we wore regular skirts and rolled them up when the authorities were around. The dress code got much more lax between Jr. high and High school though.

LOL! The onesie thing is throwing me off here big time. I don't remember them. For babies, yes, not for adults.

Actually, I guess I do wear elastic pants—athletic wear has elastic waistbands. Strange how I didn’t make that connection.

You're right, but I actually wear slacks that have elastic waistbands. Oh my word I'm my mom! LOL!
