"Parenthood" and Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD)

The show Parenthood on NBC is doing an arc on reactive attachment disorder. A family is in the process of adopting a 10 year old boy. They are handling it well, but it is really hard to capture the true affect on the family and how dark a Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) kid can be.

FYI, today was our family's Independence Day. Our difficult child 1 turned 18. Yippee!

I love Parenthood. It is such a wonderful look into what a family is sorta really like. Not the Perfect TV family we always see. This family is chock full of difficult child's.
