We went into a store to buy some Toys for Tots and bought a few things. When we saw the box, I was shocked. It was filled to the top with really nice toys. That made me happy.
Then hubby and I went out to the truck. There was a little blue sticky on the window. My husband has Veteran plates.
Somebody had paused on the way to the store in the snow and cold Wisconsin darkness to write "Thanks for your service" and to stick it on the window of our truck.
I am feeling so peaceful and Christmasy tonight. Our tree is lit up and life is good
