Tonight's the night! Duckie is hosting a few friends tonight for a sleepover. It's a pool/water skill party with a "Camp Half-Blood" theme. They're in the pool right now and having a blast! We'll be grilling chicken for open chicken souvlaki and making s'mores around the fire pit later. We may even catch a glimpse of the Perseids if the cloud cover lifts! And we'll watch the movie and eat plenty of fresh buttery popcorn later. I'll make a breakfast pizza in the morning and send them on their way.

So far, so good... sort of.

One of the three guests likes to stir the pot a bit so I (unfortunately) have to keep on top of it. Doesn't she know this is a no drama zone?

The movie is almost over and husband is about to start the fire... wish us luck!

We had one potential incident that I headed off. Three of the girls decided they were going to place Duckie's toy snake on the fourth (sleeping) girl's chest so she'd be scared witless when she woke up. I hid the toy snakes after that....

Almost done... and a good thing too! I'm almost out of duct tape!!!!!
