Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) books

Have found some books on Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). They are:

Facilitating Developmental Attachment in Foster and Adopted Children by Dr. Dan Hughes. Heavy book but great insights into the mind of a Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) and great parenting tech.

When Love is Not Enough by Nancy Thomas - therapuetic foster mom. Written for severe RADs (can be toned down as appropriate).

Parenting With Love and Logic by Dr. Foster Cline. Written for typical kids but it is very useful for RADS.

Therapuetic Parenting: Its a Matter of Attitude! by Deborah Hage. Also a therapuetic foster mom.

These books help with day-to-day living. They also help us to see why RADs do what they do. Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) kids are stuck in a survival mode and its up to us to help them change the way they see themselves and the way they view relationships.

Also, a good Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) link is www.syix.com/adsg
