Scars after angiogram?

Amongst all my friends here, I know there's got to be folks who have had an angiogram, which is the focus of my question.

I didn't need a stent, but am curious to know if scar tissue can build up post angiogram?

I have had numerous angio's and do have scar tissue as the have actually left about 2 inches of scar. And now the scar tissues has prevented me from lowering my leg completely from a sitting position. Does anyone know if this is repairable? I am having physical therapy but to no avail.
