difficult child is doing better. Found a psychiatrist he really likes. He is taking medications for the drug addiction to pain killers and for bipolar and anxiety. He's working 2 part time jobs delivering food and cooking. He still doesn't know what he wants to do with his life but definitely not cooking he says. I keep hoping this time is it, that he has finally gotten his act together but I've been hurt too many times before with getting my hopes up. Since he likes this psychiatrist, maybe difficult child will try harder this time. One thing that is interesting about this psychiatrist is that he tells my son that he (the dr) doesn't want him (difficult child) to die. He says that every time he has an appointment. I think that is what is motivating difficult child because he comes home and mentions it to me.
