She's been out of rehab and clean for 60 days now.
This was her 4th time, and I think because it was the 4th (I've heard it takes 4-5 times for meth), and because she is a bit more mature, and because her boyfriend is facing federal charges, and because it was in a different city and she had no family there, it stuck. Well, at least so far. Meth is so hard to get off of. She was pretty much off of the meth to begin with, but I think she was doing weed, and she still has serious anxiety issues, and she needed serious therapy and medications.
Another of my sisters saw her 2 wks ago and said, "She's bright and happy and cheerful, just like the old C we used to know. And she's gained some weight."
Fingers crossed!

Terry,
That's wonderful. Yes, meth is really hard to shake. I hope she has a good network of support lined up to continue her progress. It's so encouraging to hear good news now and again - thank you!
