Thank you all for the love, hugs, and prayers. I wouldn't be "so" concerned if I had taken better care of my body. Sigh...the last time I had a Pap was 8 yrs ago! We didn't have insurance and when I had my pyschotic breakdown Feb 07 it cost us around 10 thousand dollars!!! Over the last yr or so I have had HEAVY bleeding for weeks at a time and then nothing for close to 3 months. It's been very sporatic which is extremely unusual for me as I have always been a 28 day girl. We finally got insurance this past April and I decided to see a Dr around April 15th for an abcessed tooth. It was at that Dr visit that I found out I was dangerously Anemic. So much so that the Dr said if I were to need surgery they would have to give me a blood transfusion first. He also said if I were to be in an accident that I would simply bleed out on the scene. So I became alarmed. Then my mother and I were visiting with a friend and she mentioned that her mother had been very Anemic and was dxd with Cancer as "Cancer eats blood" she said. So finally I decided to see the OBGYN. I wish I had not waited so long. Just a heads up for all you gals...Please see your Dr regularly. You don't want to wait until the body is failing...better to be proactive. Thanks again for all the support. Love, LMS ps...Some symptoms of severe Anemia (that I had) are craving ice, insomnia, tired ALL the time, and pale skin.
