Just was thinking of you and remembered a "scare" I had in my 50's. There is a moral here...eventually, lol. Twenty years ago or so I discovered blood in the toilet. I didn't mention it to anyone but it worried me so I went to the library and checked out a book entitled something like "the ten signs of colon cancer" and took it home. I had EIGHT of the ten signs! I made an appointment to see the specialist and, believe it or not, I even took my husband with me (something I never do since I'm so independent by nature)! At the end of the appointment a colon exam was scheduled at the hospital for a few days later BUT the MD said "I have been in this specialty for thirty years. Many times I have patients come in with every symptom of colon cancer and they are 100% cancer free. Othertimes I have people come in with no symptoms at all and they have cancer. Don't worry all week!" Tammy, he was 100& right. I was aok although in my imagination I had myself making "arrangements". LOL! Last year I had NO symptoms and, of course, the results were not positive. I hope it is nothing to worry about for you but should it end up being a problem you will be able to handle what it is. Raising difficult children gives us a spine of steel and a complete appreciation for the Serenity Prayer. Hugs DDD
