Don't know where to start. It's a banking job and they basically threw me to the wolves within 15 minutes of being there. I literally broke a sweat and was shaking. NO training. I'm pretty computer savvy. But, this system is the most archiac way to do business. Whoever, in their life, uses the 'end' key? To top matters off, my so-called trainer doesn't speak very good English, and she speak 1000 miles per hour. "key, key, 11, end, end, end." You get that? Ummm. no. Finally, about a couple of hours into it, I asked her if she minded if I took notes. Geez...I need a cheat sheet. The other thing that amazed me was the LARGE amount of cash that comes through. What are these people doing...and can I have a job? We talking 10's of thousands in raw cash. The kicker was at the end of the day a former parent came in. We do the hug through the 6 inch plexiglass. I taught 3 of his kids. I jokingly said, "So, are you here to deposit millions?" He laughed, and gave me a check for 43.6 mill. My mentor is gone. :surprised1:I'm in total panic mode. Bring up his account and I was astounded. Patiently waited for lead teller...I'm sweating beads. The check was not written out correctly and he says he's taking his mills out of there. Now, I'm basically wet with sweat. Not my decision, but they did bow down to him in the end. It was a very interesting, very fast-paced day. I'm on information overload and hope I don't forget my cheat sheet for tomorrow! Bottom line...I learned to eat something for breakfast. No breaks. NO HEALS. Wear my glasses. Abbey
