Many people are in desperate situations and they take responsibility the best they can to live in dignity and to protect their children. A member of my extended family was left with two disabled children out of three. She has educated herself, she works, and she cares for her children.  It's nobody's fault that your grandchildren inherited genetic illnesses.  Life is just the way life is. If you experience your daughter's stories and behavior as toxic it's not wrong to keep distance. You don't have to answer the phone. How is it helping anybody if you are destroyed by this situation?</blockquote>
