I was officially diagnosed three years ago with premature degenerative arthritis, and even though mentally I want to run again, miss it so much, physically I'm beginning to realize this is no longer possible. I was planning on checking out nordic walking as Suzir has suggested, got side-tracked with issues (kids, financial, etc..) and forgot about it until this morning. I know not being able to run is a very minor thing given everything that happens in life, but it's a really tough thing for me to give up. Every time I see a runner go by, I just want to get out my running shoes and go... SFR [/QUOTE]
