I’m breaking over here... can’t handle this much longer...my 16-year old is genius, (has Aspergers Tourette’s and Sensory processing disorder) taking all honors classes, (but failing right now). He struggles majorly with respect and he can’t handle when injustice happens to him. He has no responsibilities other than eating food. He is teeny. He is germaphobic and can’t eat anything unless it’s shrink wrapped and even then he is so picky! He plays video games and watches YouTube all day long. He has been violent but never hurt any animals or people before (He kicked over a bar stool that bouncy up at hit me etc). But lately he has shown more aggressive including slapping and running after me when mad/triggered into a rage, scratching me as he tried to head locked me, He broke our window by kicking it in, he has holes in his walls..His door was ruined from him kicking it etc. oh and he swears really bad during this time. Now he is refusing to go to school after a long weekend of declaring his sister can’t touch his cat without his permission and he proceeded to scream at her and intimidate her. I said they were both wrong in that situation and hence this standoff. (Him for screaming and HER for not listening to his wishes regarding HIS cat). It’s day 4 and he won’t talk to any of us (his dad, me his siblings), refusing to go to school, and we have YET to turn off WiFi for fear he will rage and lose his marbles. We were waiting for him to mellow out about the cat thing, but he just hasn’t! I’m at a loss. We know we have to initiate consequences and we will... (no electronics) but are really avoiding it as we have to live here too! I feel helpless, and broken and alone. I need options! •I want to take him to a Dr. for medications.... he needs something! But he won’t go to the Dr. I can’t carry him there! •I tried counseling for him and he hated it! Refuses! •his nutrition is always an issue for me and my husband ... he eats so little and is skinnin-bones but I got his Blood test results: vitamin D was all that was low. •sleep... he doesn’t get enough while going to school maybe 6-7 hours at most. •must attend school •get job/drivers training/learn to take Care of self etc #futuregoals
