It filters through the payee first to disperse the monies appropriately for the recipient. I'm not sure if you even want to see about doing that, but it is an option. This way you can determine where the money is allocated (paying yourselves the rent which is total legal and what is suppose to happen if he is living with you or on your property) and give whatever is left over to him. Most payee's are parents or family members. Payee is in total control of the social security payments.
