Or will be in 5 months when she is to go to boot camp. She made me promise not to tell family members, so she can tell them. So I had to share it with someone!

I am not saying she will survive boot camp...I hope she does. The recruiter will be working with her for the next few months.

She sent a picture of her being sworn in...she looks like a midget next to the Matine Officer.

ksm, I think this is wonderful. The force of the naked chicken liver dance is powerful. I think regardless of whether or not she makes it through boot camp, she will be gaining valuable adult experiences. Be proud.

Wow! That is something! My son tried to enlist once, but they wouldn't take him because of the drugs. Just as well as I don't think he'd have made it...he was going for all the wrong reasons (a girl). But I really hope this is a great experience for her however it turns out.

This daughter hasn't had a problem with drugs...and no legal problems...and healthy.

But she was moody and a handful when younger. Also very scattered...

But, I am hoping for the best!
