I've never heard of this. It was an instant success. So cool! Too bad she had to wait a wk with-mis-dxes and then go to the ER in the middle of the night to get it. (We're not in Portland. I just liked this explanation.)

My son had the same procedure done after a spinal fluid leak after epidural for herniated disc. It would great for one day, then he sneezed real hard, and then the headaches came back... Tell her to take it easy! KSM

Sorry. Hit enter too soon. I had an epidural for pain management after bowel surgery.

Had the headach from hell (blew the doors off a migraine) afterwards. All they did was draw some blood and inject it into the epidural space. The blood clots and seals up the leak in the membranes.

*Poof* No more headache!
