Hi Letgo. How in the world could you not be worried? In my town there is a program which is called The Rescue Mission. They have an arrangement with the Parole and Probation Departments. They house and feed released prisoners who want this help. There is a comprehensive recovery program that is faith-based. They help them get benefits and needed medical treatment. They provide jobs. It really is a comprehensive, humane program. People do recover and people do become productive. Most of all they feel cared for and they are integrated into the community. I know about this program because my son was peripherally involved and I have a patient that has lived within this community for over two years. I pray that your daughter finds and accepts the help of a community-based program such as this. This is the situation all of us find ourselves in. Our children are adults. They can either make good or not so good choices for themselves. Our job is to let them, by letting go. But how do we manage our own fear and worry, which is at the heart of it, only love? Posting, I guess. Love, Copa
