I'm sending prayers and good wishes that this will be a positive placement for him. It has to be better than the last one, right?
My difficult child#2 went to a theraputic foster home and I, too, had mixed feelings about it but it turned out to be a great place for him. The dad there was also just a down to earth guy. He was a roofer and taught difficult child how to do roofing and siding during the summer. The mom was on top of things and made sure that everybody was where they were supposed to be with all of the i's dotted and the t's crossed. OK, it didn't exactly cure him; he still has problems but he is much better than he was and I think they helped him. What more can we ask for? I hope your experience will turn out to be as positive as ours was.
