I'm afraid to say that I have no ideas as I am a mere 5' 4-1/2" tall. I have never had to worry about anything having to do with being tall. lol However, I have never heard anyone say that a short do would make someone look taller - that's a new one to me. I guess I have never taken into consideration my height or body size when I have thought about my hair. Guess it makes some sense, though.
Hopefully someone with more 'stature' will come along and give you some ideas!
