Every interaction escalates to a blow up fight..what do we do, not talk to difficult child ever?

Omg I want to cry for the boy & shake & scream at the mom to Wake Up, get Herself some help/autism education! I'm sorry for not being as kind & helpful as the others here but I'm just so sick to my stomach, thinking about this boy crying for his mom to come back, not understanding why nobody believes him, etc. I can only hope & pray that she has woke up & is now giving that boy what he needs! He is Not doing Any of it On Purpose!!!!!!!!!

Yes, while not wanting to "persecute" the mother on this old thread, when I read it through, I was more than a little chilled by the image of her walking away from her child and refusing to talk to him while he screamed for her to come back. So sad.
