Dara....since its summer, will he run thru the sprinkler outside in his undies? That might get him clean without him noticing what you are doing. If all else fails, a wash cloth will wipe off obvious dirt.
I think you are doing the right things on offering him what he will eat in non-confrontational ways, supplementing what you can with yummy shakes if he will drink them, and letting him eat at school if he will.
