My son is almost 40. He lives alone the 50% time he doesn't have his son and he hates it. He has a good job and his own house but no friends and doesn't talk like he cares, yet he is afraid of being alone. I'n all his life he has never been self satisfied alone yet he isn't that nice to other people except son. Age helped him deal with some problems but it didn't change him all that much.
Age doesn't always help if more is going on than just immaturity. It is sad. Sadder, I pretty much know my son won't change as he has no insight I to himself and won't go for help.
