congrats...you are taking what control you have...He sounds like he sees you mean business.

I don't have the advice...our son is home living under our contract rules. It is what it is...some days are ok, some days I wish I were someone else.

Alanon can offer support and help with detachment.

I am so very proud of you...you have taken a step for both of you.

KSM and SMommaof5; thank you. It really does mean a lot to get support and not feel isolated. I appeciate it more than you know. Part of my dilemma is that I am paid to be a professional that intervenes and counsels, manages risk and makes plans for support. Alas as it goes, I am not so effective in my own home. It's a real challenge to see how much all of this, the last 3 plus years has eroded my self confidence. So I appreciate your kind words.
