Cedar. I am curious about how you link detestable with honor. Do you see the words as opposites, like, to honor and to detest?

For me, the opposite of to honor would be something like to defame. And the opposite of detest would be to love. I am not quibbling about the meanings to others, but wondering about the meaning to you, if you would like to share.
