Cedar, you absolutely have my laughing out loud when you talk about Aunt Bea or Cher. You cant have Roseanne because I swear her TV show was modeled after my family life.

Speaking of those obnoxious toys. My dad used to get my boys all these toys that made horrific noises. I think the worst one was this ray gun that spun around and all these colored flashes came out and it screeched like a banshee at ear splitting levels. He always handed them to the boys right as he was leaving too...lol. Never occurred to me until I had grandkids that he was being evil!

Cedar, your posts are great. Very introspective, very serious and then you interject hilarious stuff. Very human, so real. Painful, yet smile-inspiring.

You never let go that this is such a difficult road. That you can make us laugh, at least snicker, is priceless. Wanting to be cuter than Aunt Bea? That's understandable, even if she was fictional.
