Financial Aid for Private School

I'm determined to put difficult child in private school for 6th grade next year. She just isn't as "mature" as the other girls her age. The cliques in school are horrible. difficult child comes home in tears because they kids call her a loser for not being able to read as well as they do.

Anyway, I'm looking for financial aid options. A couple of the big Learning Disability (LD) schools in the area have financial assistance but I'm not sure how much they cover.

Does anyone else out there know of where else I might try to find funding?

To answer your question, I don't know.

You might check with some of the larger advocacy agencies to see if they would have a lead for you.

Another possibility may be grants for special needs kids?
