I hope we are making the best of our day.
I haven't been here for awhile. I wanted to share with you about my son however. I don't know if any of you recall, but last year at school, was a year from .................
All the fighting with teachers, principals,,,. He simply got no additional support because there was no Learning Disability (LD) Identification. I fought for the testing among other things. The school hated me and I them.
Well, it seem's to have paid off calling the higher ups at the end of last year to complain. Although the Principal,,, hate me more than ever, my son is sure getting the treatment he deserved this year. Special Education, EA, lots' of correspondence with the teachers and mysself as to progress, my input,,,. IT IS ABOUT TIME!
I am happy to report some real progress only 1.5 months into the school year.
