What a wonderful visit. I am so happy for you both that it went smoothly. Happy belated birthday, Lil. I know it meant a lot to have your son acknowledge it. It's so good to see those moments of sweetness.

Aww....Thank you all for your birthday wishes! I appreciate it.
On the birthday - that seemed to be the girlfriend at least in part. He had called the other day to ask some information because he was at the doctor using my health insurance and he asked my date of birth. Apparently his girlfriend was the one who realized it was when we'd be there. She put Jabber's birthday in her phone at dinner.
But then, I'm terrible remembering things like that...so I can't blame him for it.

Aww I specifically looked for a post from you to get an update! I am never on here anymore but I do miss you all. So happy to hear he is moving in the right direction.
