In reference to the Abilify, my dad said the same thing (he is a psychiatric nurse) and thinks we ought to try something else.

Cool. In the family. I'd be picking his brains constantly.


I am taking him to be assessed in the morning. His doctor thinks he needs inpatient again.

Well, the psychiatrist admitted him. Unfortunately, I found out that our new insurance only covers him at 50% even on inpatient visits and will only allow 7 days. I hope they can get something accomplished in that time. His psychiatrist is primarily an inpatient doctor so she will be there with him most of the time. And she told us the census was low so she is planning on giving him alot of her time.
This is the 3rd hospitalization in 3 years *sigh* :frown:

I do ask him questions all the time. He has never worked with kids...always adults and geriatrics, but he is still a very valuable resource.
