Star, difficult child has lost a ton of weight since starting the depo. So much so that the Dr sent her for bloodwork to check out her thyroid - she lost almost 10 lbs.
And the shot seems to actually makes her nicer to be around...up until the week before she's due for her next shot. Just goes to show you how different medications work with different chemical makeups, huh?
However, she hasn't had a period in nearly 8 months. I am not too keen on that aspect. But you know? I hardly [ever] have to worry about a missed pill or period anymore. Notice I said 'hardly'.

Very, very glad to hear that she is not pregnant.
My daughter continues to have weight issues...perhaps even moreso while on the depro. shot.
