I can tell you counties "G" and "M" don't really talk to each other all the time! Learned that through my difficult child's bad days unfortunately.

It always amazes me how the counties are not tied into the same database. I am right on the border of two counties myself and another county is only 10 minutes away. I always assumed if you got into trouble in one of the bordering counties that all my county had to do was go into their computer and you would show up. That seems archaic to me.

They really are tied in but they are too lazy to check. Anytime a warrant is issued it goes into NCIC then it shows up anytime the person's name is run. I have actually had that happen to a few people I know. Maybe it makes a difference in what the charge is. Dont know about that.
