What about Christmas?

An update about my son R., who has moved out of state to KY. He got a job and he will come to get the car and start making payments. Now another question has come to my mind about handling Christmas. He and I have agreed to not exchange gifts. This us hard for me. He has cost me a lot of money, BUT, I do want to get at least a $50.00 gift card. Any feedback?

Hi Gail, I think that is very appropriate. Christmas is Christmas and if it makes you feel good to do this, then to me, its the right thing.

Rather than give him a gift card, why don't you subtract $50 from what he owes you?
