I have a son who will be 26 he has 3 beautiful children a girlfriend they all live with me and my husband in a 2 bedroom house he is addicted to meth he doesn't work and I don't know how to make him leave our house

I need help with trying to stay calm and rational, any advice is welcome! I don't know if I should have him arrested or not.

My 18 year old son is tanking. He's smoking lots of pot, was arrested for damaging a vehicle and he stole $500 from my bank account.

My story is similar to urs I have a 7 y/o boy,adopted from Russia - his birth mom was a heroin addict and had Hep C. He has extreme difficulties at school He has been violent, and runs out of the classroom on a daily basis. He is struggling with-reading & writing. We're going for a formal assessment soon. My belief is he has ODD and is dyslexic. Considering home-schooling?

Im sorry your going through this to. I believe mine is more sensory processing issues at this time. But I really dont know yet

Oh and yes I think Ive had it with the school system. There only focus seems to be trying to force compliance and hope the bad behaviors magically go away.

My 35 year old son is married but has now been out in the streets for a week. He has emotional problems and addictions. He cant come home.

I picked up my son and took him to a place I found out about on tv by accident. It is a place for homeless and have psychiatric problems. I drove up to the door and I watched him go in the door. This was yesterday. I havent heard from him. Is it wrong to want to find out if he stayed. Should I just leave it.

I am broken. Don't know if I can live with this pain in my heart. My 21 yr old daughter hates me. Don't know that god is listening.

My heart goes out to you. My daughter hates me too. I licked her and her boyfriend out of my house for using heroine. She blames me for her use. I know your broken hearted, but God is listening, and he will give you piece. I'm broken hearted, but he will help you to get through your pain.

I have no idea. With our kids taking them out in public seems to be a challenge just when we have to lol. I think it would be a great idea, im in Texas. I found a home school one for my area with kids with special needs. They do field trip outing often and I'm thinking of taking mine to one and see how hes does. Wouldn't it be great to able to take our kids out with families that actually understand our kids !

I just joined the website and loved your story. Does anyone know of parent groups that meet (like AA and Al-Anon) where we can just discuss? I'm in Central NJ and can't find any such group. Since I am also a member of Al-Anon, maybe I will have to start a group!

My daughter was prostituting for drugs. It's heart breaking. All you can do is pray, and hope she finds her way. There is nothing f you can do, but leave it up to God!

still learning how to use this. I guess I should respond here. My daughter has been in the life since she was 14 and she is now 21. It is gut wrenching. I see a trauma therapist and that helps. focusing on self care helps
