After Mother's Day

Mother's Day came and went. Spent some time with my 38 year old daughter and she put a bit of time and energy into trying to make it an ok day. A typical day with her is listening to her complain about everything. We cannot go anywhere without her complaining about her period, or some other thing. While she was living at home I took her to several doctors and nothing wrong with her could be found. I had her checked from top to bottom, she even spent the night in a sleep lab. My bipolar sister in law was just like that. Constant complain and no real health issue. I think some of it is paranoid behavior.

Crayola 13, Your post about using Dove cucumber (hope you were talking about the cucumber/white tea one, body soap was right on. I got my daughter some and she said she really likes it and is using it. YES, she came over showered. Thank you so much for the great suggestion. I have bought her many different soaps but she really does like this one.

I took a walk with my daughter on a walking trail just her and me. I told her that I love her and she told me about what is going on in the political world... Then a man riding his bike rode by looked back at me and yelled 'Happy Mother' day' Made my day.
Of course I miss my son, he always made such a big day out of Mother's Day. He loved to celebrate. My husband made the day special as usual.
I was grateful that my daughter came over showered. I told her thank you for everything. I would like to take a walk with my daughter and her actually talk normal things that are not political or how strongly she believes all the conspiracy stuff. I really just want to hear about normal everyday stuff. All and all it was a nice day. I hope and pray you all had a nice day too.

I am happy you at least had time with your daughter. That is nice.

I had to sadly laugh about hearing about her
conspiracy theories. Kay talked nonstop about the craziest things and we could not have normal conversations.

Love and prayers.

I'm glad she liked the Dove. She should have a serious talk with the doctor about the painful periods.

crayola13, Since the age of 13 I have had her to every GYN specialist in town to found out why her periods are so rough. My mom had rough periods too. I think most of my daughter's problems are in her frontal lobes. My daughter has gone though every test you can imagine, I have studied and taken her to doctors, healers, massage therapists, you name it to get to the bottom of it.

Many times I think it is for attention or excuse to be lazy. She puts on the show for me but has better control for everyone else even her dad. I can tell real pain from made up pain and I have seen both.

I know several woman that have very rough periods. Life still went on with them. I have had cramps so bad at times that I could not see straight and was doubled over. Things still got done.
