Ant called on Friday to say that he was coming up for a visit next weekend.

Well, yesterday, Ant called to say that his boss needs him to work both Friday and Sunday and that he was sorry but he wouldn't make it home this weekend.

OMG!!! This is the first sign of maturity!!!

Of course, it could of been a fluke. But my Mommy heart is swelling with joy at that one little sign of growing up!

Ant is 21 or so... yes, he could well be doing some maturing. If he's at all average for a difficult child, you should see more of this over the next 4 years or so...

LOL!!! especially for a son, the boys do seem to take more for granted!!! Happy for you! mine still has a ways to go.
