Happy Thanksgiving to all my SA buddies!

I hope everyone is having a calm, restful day with family and friends. We are expecting our daughters and other relatives to be here soon and am looking forward to spending time with them. It is has been a busy week preparing for Saturday's wedding along with tears saying good-bye to our beloved shih tzu Gracie. We had to let her go yesterday when our vet said it was time. I held her in my arms as we said good-bye.

So it is a time of joy and sadness. I guess that pretty much sums of life, doesn't it?

Hi Nomad. Yes, it is the daughter that brought me here so long ago. She has been sober for over 3.5 years, has a great job, and now is marrying the love of her life.

For a long time, I thought we would be planning a funeral . . . not a day of joy and celebration.

Miracles can happen and there is always hope!
